Cathy, a founding member of Chennai Challenge, has shown unwavering dedication to the charity, leading projects and traveling for many years. Her expertise in youth work and passion for developing people have been instrumental in shaping meaningful experiences for volunteers and communities alike, leaving a lasting impact on the charity’s mission.

Since 2009, Emma has been a key leader in Chennai Challenge, taking on the role of project leader and managing multiple initiatives. With extensive experience in teaching, she brings creativity, empathy, and a strong commitment to community engagement. Her leadership has helped drive impactful projects, inspiring volunteers and strengthening the charity’s mission.

Suzanne’s dedication is truly impressive! From her first visit in 2010 to becoming a project leader and trustee secretary, her commitment speaks volumes. It’s wonderful to see how deeply involved she’s become—clearly, she’s made a lasting impact.

Whilst having never been to Chennai, Ola uses his accounting and IT skills to support the behind the scenes running of the charity as CEO.

Nick has been dedicated to Chennai Challenge since 2008, sharing this journey with his now wife, Sarah. His passion and enthusiasm have been invaluable in supporting the charity’s work over the years. To continue his involvement and contribute further, he has taken on the role of trustee, helping to drive the charity’s mission forward.

Mike plays a vital role as a trustee and finance officer for Chennai Challenge, using his financial expertise to support the charity’s operations. His extensive travel experience brings valuable insight and guidance, helping to shape projects and ensure effective resource management. His dedication is instrumental in driving the charity’s success.

Mary’s journey is inspiring! From volunteering with Chennai Challenge to engaging with multiple organisations, she’s committed to making a difference. Becoming a trustee in 2025 is such a great way to channel her experience into leadership.

Jackie has supported Chennai Challenge for many years, traveling to Chennai three times. With her expertise in early years teaching, she brings enthusiasm, creativity, and valuable experience to every project. Her passion for the charity led her to join the trustee team, ensuring her continued contribution to its mission.
